DELIVERY AND PICKUP ROUTINE

Rodanthe Rides is happy to offer delivery from Rodanthe to Hatteras!
We will deliver your E-Scooter to your vacation rental on the day you choose. During delivery, your E-Scooter will be placed in a dry area close to the cottage entrance. This is the same place you will leave the E-Scooter on pick up day.

ARE THERE ANY EXTRA FEES?

Your E-Scooter rental must be returned fully charged or you will be charged a $10 Fee. If the E-Scooter is damaged or not functioning properly, there will be a repair or replacement charge. If your E-Scooter is not in the area it was delivered on pick up day, there will be a $10 recovery fee.

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK AN E-SCOOTER?

We recommend booking your E-Scooter at least 24 hours in advance.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY E-SCOOTER IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY OR STOPS WORKING?

You are required to inspect your E-Scooter before each use. Ensure it turns on properly, that the LED is reading the battery charged and speed is displayed, and that it is braking properly. If it is not charging or fails to turn off/on properly, call us immediately. We inspect each E-Scooter between rentals and do our best to make sure they are working properly.

WHAT ARE YOUR RENTAL REQUIREMENTS?

1. E-Scooter Rider is at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

2. Each E-Scooter Rider must sign waiver.

3. E-Scooter Rider is sole user.

4. E-Scooter Rider is a competent vehicle operator.

5. E-Scooter Rider must follow laws regarding use and/or operation of vehicle
6. E-Scooter Rider will need to authorize the use of a credit card (in his/her name) for a security hold of $250 per E-Scooter.
* This hold will be released once the rental is returned, checked by our staff, and deemed to be in the same condition as on day one of rental. *

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY AND PICK-UP TIMES FOR YOUR E-SCOOTERS?

E-Scooters will be picked up starting at 9AM for 10AM rentals, 10AM for 11AM rentals, 11AM for 12PM rentals, 12PM for 1PM Rentals, 1PM for 2PM rentals, 3PM for 4PM Rentals, and 4PM for 5PM Rentals. E-Scooter deliveries are made between 9AM and 6PM.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Weekly Rentals (5 Days) 100% Refund if cancelled 8 or more days before rental start date.
Weekly rentals (5 Days) 50% Refund if cancelled within 7 days before rental start date.
Daily rentals are not eligible for any refunds.
No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather. (Refer to our Storm/ Hurricane Policy for Mandatory Evacuations)
If rental item(s) has been delivered to customer, no refunds will be given. We will gladly trade for another E-Scooter.
